After School Clubs
Our fourth session of After School Clubs begins the week of March 25 and runs until the week of to April 29 (six weeks). Registration open! Please share with friends and neighbours outside the Mulberry community—our Clubs are open to all Grades 1-8 students in the Greater Kingston Area.
Active Games / Wednesdays, March 27 to May 1
From 4:00 to 5:00 PM
The cost per week is $10
Got spring energy? Caitlyn Brugma (Mulberry staff member) will lead a variety of active cooperative and circle games each week. The games will be focused on building cooperation, fostering collaboration, and developing problem-solving skills in students. Games may be outside or inside, depending on the weather. Open to students in Grades 1 to 4

Arts and Crafts Club / Thursdays, April 18-June 13

Imagine. Draw. Paint. Create! Join Club Leader Sarah Matthews* (Mulberry practicum teacher candidate) for artistic fun. Sarah has loved arts and crafts since she was a child! Students will have opportunities to create various pieces using different mediums and skills. Students will have the opportunity to express their creativity, hone their artistic skills, develop imagination, fine motor and hand-eye coordination skills, and boost their confidence and pride in their capacities. This art club will be a supportive and inclusive environment and will help students view the world through different artistic lenses. Open to all grade school students.
*Sarah is currently a student at Queen's University studying English and Geography in her Bachelors of Arts. She has a love for all arts and has spent her life engaging with different mediums: piano, poetry, singing, oil paints, writing, drawing, knitting, sewing, quilting, stained glass, pastels, watercolour, wood working, and charcoal. Sarah also loves teaching and is pursuing a Bachelors of Education at Queen's. Sarah has experience in classrooms teaching, assisting, and supporting students of diverse age ranges and abilities.

Looking for an exciting way to stay active and try new sports? Join Mulberry's After School Sports Club with Club Leader Zoha Virk! Students will have the opportunity to play a variety of sports and develop fundamental skills in sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball and others. Each week or two will focus on a different sport, with the sessions focusing on developing the necessary skills to play that sport. Students will be encouraged to use the skills they've learned in a friendly game to end each session. Open to all grade students.
Ms. Virk is currently a student at Queen's University and has completed two teaching placements at Mulberry, in Grade 7/8 and Grade 5/6.
