I have been teaching at Mulberry Waldorf School since 2002. I currently teach Physical Education and Handwork, which includes knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery and woodworking. I truly enjoy working with the children in both these areas, developing not only fine and gross-motor skills, but more importantly, confidence and life-long capacities in thinking, teamwork and caring.
I also teach “Foundations in Anthroposophy” to adults, individually and at Mulberry on weekends, through the Rudolf Steiner Centre in Toronto.
In 1993 I helped start Mulberry Waldorf School, starting with a playgroup, with my two eldest daughters who are nearing the end of their education as an architect and a computer software engineer. My youngest daughter, a Mulberry alumnus is in the International Baccalaureate Program at KCVI.
Interests include running, swimming, gardening, knitting and building. I am also working on developing a Waldorf-inspired home childcare network in Kingston.
