Serena Manson
Serena Manson—Grades 1 and 2, 2011-2012
Serena received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, working for 4 years in the fields of child welfare and adult mental health, before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Queen’s University. She has worked in MWS classrooms for eight years: one year as a kindergarten assistant and seven years as class teacher (Grades 1-6). Serena has attended various Waldorf summer intensives and workshops. When not teaching she enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, camping and canoeing, biking, cross country skiing, gardening, and creating crafty and functional wares with her son and husband.
