Craig Simpson
I am a new teacher. This is my first year working at Kingston’s Mulberry Waldorf School. I am teaching the Grade 5/6 class and working with Board Members in the Marketing Committee. Last year I regularly observed the Grade 4/5 class and worked in the public school system.
My child Luka and partner Sadiqa are attending Mary Huggard’s Parent-Child group without me this year. This is our third year in the group. Next year we will enroll Luka in Morning Garden.
I come to teaching with parenting, farming, counseling, mediating, and progressive community programming experience. I am interested in character development and social inclusion. Hobbies include pick-up soccer, bird watching, camping…anything outside. Life would not be complete without potatoes and leeks.
