Sara Gabova

While fulfilling my alternative practicum requirements at Mulberry I became overjoyed by the school’s art-infused curriculum, kinaesthetic learning opportunities to develop math concepts, and the sounds and gestures expressed by the adults in their teaching.  I later returned as a supply teacher, an LTO teacher, and then a teacher in the Morning Garden program. This year I am working in the Meadow Garden  (Kindergarten), and with the grade 1/2 class.

As part of my day I research the arts in Waldorf curriculum, paint with colour, garden to design space, and knit one stitch at a time to lead a life rich in creativity.
