Choosing an independent private school is a big step. To reduce the financial burden of the decision, Mulberry offers new families a substantial reduction in tuition irrespective of family income.
The Grade School Entry Scholarship reduces by one-half the tuition of the family's eldest Grade School child.
Here are the details.
- Families whose children have not been enroled in Mulberry School Morning Garden, Kindergarten or other Waldorf schools are eligible. (Families who have participated in Parent and Child programs only are also eligible.)
- Younger siblings remain eligible for a sibling discount and the family may also apply for tuition adjustment.
- Award decisions will be made after the child has gone through the interview process and has been accepted by the Faculty.
- An eligible family that applies for but does not receive a Scholarship and chooses not to enrol will have their deposit returned less the non-refundable interview deposit.
- Awards are limited to five in total each year and are governed by classroom capacity.
- The school will notify parents of tuition adjustments and Grade School Entry Scholarship awards as soon as possible. After receiving notification parents have one-week period to submit a complete application to keep the child’s priority in the list of applicants for the program.
