Welcome to Mulberry Waldorf School!
Mulberry Waldorf School is an intentional learning community where a fundamental understanding of child development informs our enriched curriculum, fusing academic and experiential learning to cultivate freedom in thinking, healthy emotional development, compassion, and imagination – all essential capacities for becoming active citizens of the world. Rigorous academics are integrated with the arts, physical movement, outdoor time, and practical, hands-on skills to enhance learning and deepen understanding, unbound by the four walls of a classroom.
We are an independent elementary school in Kingston, Ontario and part of a network of accredited Waldorf schools across the world.
A gentle start ... with a strong finish!

From preschool through grade 8, our family has benefited from an approach to education that has met our three very different kids where they were and has encouraged them to blossom. We value the time they've spent outdoors, the respite from screens, the engaging curriculum and the opportunity to develop skills in woodworking, sewing and knitting. Their creativity has been fostered, and they have flourished in an environment where they are known and valued by the entire community of faculty, staff and students."
